Complete a Career Pathway At Summit OR Community College!
At Summit Learning Charter, we offer a comprehensive Career Pathway program designed to help students explore and develop the skills needed for success in a variety of industries. We have specific pathways in Business, Information Technology (IT), and Health Sciences, which provide students with the opportunity to gain hands-on knowledge and skills in their chosen field. These Pathways rotate from year to year, ensuring that students throughout their four years of high school have access to a broad range of career-focused classes offered across our learning platforms. By completing six or more classes in one pathway, students will earn a certificate from Summit and be formally recognized for their achievement at Graduation.
Student may complete courses either through our Virtual High School or through a local Community College with our Early College Program. By participating in one of Summit’s Career Pathways, students not only gain valuable knowledge and experience but also have the opportunity to earn a certificate upon completing the pathway, preparing them for future academic and career success.
Current Career Pathway Certificate Programs
- Business Pathway
This Career Pathway is designed to help students explore their interest in the business world of work. Careers in this area span virtually every industry internationally. Students pursuing careers in Business/Management need strong skills in communication, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, teamwork, ethics, negotiation, organization, mathematics, time management, and adaptability. - Information Technology (IT) | Computer Science (CS) Pathway
This Career Pathway is designed for students interested in designing, developing, supporting, and managing software, hardware, and systems integration services. IT/CS careers are available in almost all sectors and/or organizations. - Health Science Pathway
This Career Pathway is the largest and fastest growing industry in the United States. Prepare for a career promoting health, wellness, diagnosis, and treating injuries and diseases.
