I want to wish you all a warm welcome to SLC! By now, you should have connected with your Home Room Teacher, who has provided you with ample resources and information. However, there is a lot to remember! ParentSquare SmartSites is the home to all of that information for you to utilize at any point. If you can’t find something, let us know. If you have suggestions, I am happy to hear from you. I look forward to meeting you soon!

School Business Hours:
The building is open from 8am – 4pm Monday through Thursday.
For Enrichment classes offered on Tuesday and Wednesday, doors open at 8:45 am for the 9 AM drop-off.
Students are either picked up at Noon (Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd graders), or if upper grades staying for afternoon activities, pick up is at 2 pm.
Teacher and school personnel availability is from 8 am – 4 pm Monday – Friday.

All schools in our district use ParentSquare for school communication primarily with email, text, and app notifications.
ParentSquare automatically syncs with our student information system to generate an account for each parent, using their preferred email address and phone number. We encourage parents to access their accounts so they can download the mobile app and update their preferences on when and how they are notified.

As a Learning Coach you will get to individualize your child’s learning through how you:
- Curate & Teach: Select, plan, and deliver daily lessons tailored to your child’s learning style following the instructional requirements.
- Establish Structure: Create a consistent daily routine to foster effective learning. Include the communication requirements in your plan.
- Monitor Progress: Track student growth and adjust instruction to meet their needs. This includes your student’s progress monitoring with our required math and reading STAR360 assessments.
- Engage: Use your creativity to design exciting projects and celebrate your student's achievements.
