Please only assist your child in the practice questions so you student is familiar with navigating the testing platform. Once practice questions are over, please do not assist your child by reading them the questions as it will impact the validity of the assessment. On the math assessment, students have an option to play the sound for questions if they are unable to read them.

The Early Literacy test is for student not yet reading 100 sight words. Students reading more than 100 sight words should take the reading test.

Your child may need breaks during testing. You can pause the assessment and return when they are ready.

The assessment is adaptive meaning the questions will get progressively more difficult if your child answers questions correctly. They will get questions they don’t know the answers to, and that is by design. Please don’t help them with these! It will skew their results.
